Within a short stroll is Criccieth’s magnificent 13th-century castle and a wide selection of restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as a choice of two beaches. There is also direct access onto the beautiful coastal path for lovely walks in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, taking in the amazing views across Cardigan Bay towards the mountains of Snowdonia.

Within easy reach is a superb range of outdoor pursuits in the nearby Snowdonia National Park, including river rapid rafting, Zip World, one of the longest zip lines in Europe, Bounce Below, Surf Snowdonia, forest segway and mountain climbing. Other popular tourist attractions are the Ffestiniog Railway, lively and fashionable Abersoch, and the famous Portmeirion - location of the cult TV series ‘The Prisoner’ and an annual music festival.
